The hot dip galvanized steel sheet in the coil (GI) is produced by passing a full hard plate subjected to an acid washing process and a rolling process through a zinc pot, thereby applying a zinc film on the surface. Due to its zinc properties, it has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability and processability. The process and specifications of hot dip galvanized steel sheets and galvanized steel coils are generally the same.
Hot dip galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to a steel or iron plate to prevent rust.
The classification is zero brightness or extra smooth, depending on the sheet through the skin through the treatment.
Due to the self-sacrificing properties of zinc, it has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability and processability.
The required amount of galvanized zinc can be selected and produced, especially the zinc layer (maximum 125 g/m2).
