Steel Strip Manufacturer & Supplier – Sino East Steel Group
Sino East Steel Group is a professional steel strip manufacturer and supplier based in Tianjin, China, producing cold rolled, hot rolled, galvanized and stainless steel strip since 2008. Certified to ISO 9001:2015, our factory supplies steel strip coil wholesale programs to customers in more than 80 countries, from precision slit strip for automotive parts to heavy strip for pipe and tube production. As a factory-direct cold rolled steel strip factory, we sell at mill-level prices with a minimum order of 5 tons for stock sizes and 20 tons for custom specifications. Production and delivery run 15–30 days, and all cargo ships from Tianjin Xingang Port under FOB, CIF, CFR or DDP terms.
Our rolling and slitting lines handle strip from 0.10 mm to 4.0 mm in thickness and from 5 mm to 800 mm in width, with slitting tolerances suitable for high-speed forming lines. Substrate grades include SPCC, Q195 and Q235, produced to GB/T 3522, JIS G3141, EN 10139 or ASTM A1008. Annual processing capacity exceeds 150,000 tons, and each coil can be supplied with a full mill test certificate plus third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TÜV.
Why Choose Sino East Steel Group as Your Steel Strip Supplier?
Steel strip is a precision raw material: small deviations in thickness or width ripple through the entire downstream process, from tool wear on stamping presses to weld quality on tube mills. That is why buyers choose a steel strip supplier that controls rolling, slitting and inspection in-house. With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience, Sino East Steel Group delivers the dimensional consistency, clean edges and stable coil geometry that keep your production lines running.
1. Factory-Direct Manufacturing, No Middlemen
We are the steel strip manufacturer behind the brand. Our cold rolling mills reduce gauge to specification, our annealing furnaces set the mechanical properties, and our precision slitters cut master coils into the exact widths your process requires. Buying directly from the steel strip factory removes trader margins, shortens lead times, and gives you direct access to the engineers who control the process.
2. Full International Standards Compliance
Every steel strip coil wholesale order is produced to the applicable standard — GB/T 3522 for Chinese cold rolled strip, JIS G3141 for Japanese specifications, EN 10139 for European cold rolled strip, and ASTM A1008 for North American buyers. Chemistry, hardness and mechanical properties are tested per heat and reported in the mill test certificate, and each coil number can be traced back through production records.
3. Stable Quality with Multi-Step Inspection
Incoming hot rolled coils are checked for chemistry and surface defects before rolling. After cold rolling and annealing, hardness and tensile properties are verified, and in-line gauges monitor thickness across the full width and length of every coil. Slitting lines control width tolerance, burr height and camber, and a final inspection covers edge condition, surface finish and coil integrity before packing.
4. Flexible Supply for All Project Scales
Whether you need 5 tons of stock strip for prototyping or 300 tons of custom-width slit coils for a continuous production program, we can match your schedule. We offer master coil supply, precision slitting to your width, and mixed-width containers, plus buffer stock of our most requested sizes so urgent orders ship faster.
Steel Strip Product Range
As a full-range steel strip supplier, we cover the four strip families that dominate industrial consumption. All are available as master coils, slit coils, or cut lengths on request.

Cold Rolled Steel Strip
Cold rolled strip offers tight thickness tolerance, a smooth surface and consistent hardness, making it the standard substrate for stamping, forming and bending. It is used for automotive parts, hardware, fasteners, springs, cable trays and light structural members. We supply it annealed (soft) or skin-passed, in bright or matte finish, with hardness matched to your forming process.
Hot Rolled Steel Strip
Hot rolled strip is the economical choice where surface finish and tight tolerances are less critical. It feeds electric welded pipe and tube production, strapping, pallet components and general structural use. Supplied pickled and oiled or black, in coil form, with good weldability and formability for bending and edge conditioning.
Galvanized & Stainless Steel Strip
Galvanized steel strip adds a hot-dip zinc coating (Z60–Z275) for corrosion resistance in cable trays, ducting, clips and outdoor hardware. Stainless steel strip in 304 and 316 grades serves food equipment, medical devices, automotive trim, springs and architectural fittings where hygiene, strength and corrosion resistance are essential. Both are available in a wide range of widths and thicknesses.

Why Dimensional Precision Matters in Steel Strip
Steel strip is rarely a finished product — it is a raw material that feeds high-speed presses, roll formers and tube mills running at hundreds of meters per minute. In that environment, a thickness deviation of a few hundredths of a millimeter changes forming forces, tool life and final part quality, while a width deviation or an excessive burr can jam a slitting line or damage tooling. Camber, the sideways bow of the strip, is even more dangerous: on a tube mill or roll former, camber causes spiral welds and rejected profiles. Our strip is produced and inspected with exactly these parameters in mind: thickness gauges check the full coil, width and burr are verified on every slit coil, and camber is controlled below the limits your process can tolerate. That is the difference between buying strip as a commodity and buying it as a production-grade input.

Buyer’s Guide: How to Choose a Reliable Steel Strip Supplier
First, define the process the strip must feed: a stamping press needs consistent hardness and a specific surface, a tube mill needs controlled camber and clean edges, and a strapping line needs consistent tensile strength. Share these process requirements with the supplier, because a good steel strip supplier will recommend the right grade, temper and surface finish instead of selling you a generic product. Second, confirm the tolerance package in writing — thickness, width, burr height and camber — because these are the parameters that protect your tooling and your yield. Third, verify the supplier is a genuine cold rolled steel strip factory with rolling, annealing and slitting capability, and request a mill test certificate that traces back to production records. Fourth, ask for sample coils: a trial of a few tons costs little compared with a line stoppage caused by a bad batch. Fifth, a serious steel strip supplier will openly share slitting line capability, quality records and reference customers, and should be willing to put the agreed tolerances and inspection clauses into the sales contract before any deposit is paid. Finally, agree on inspection and claims procedures in the contract, including third-party inspection when volumes justify it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is the difference between cold rolled and hot rolled steel strip?
Hot rolled strip is produced at high temperature and offers lower cost with a scaled surface and wider tolerances, typically used for pipes, tubes and non-critical structural parts. Cold rolled strip is rolled further at room temperature, giving tighter thickness tolerance, a smoother surface and more consistent hardness, which is why precision forming, stamping and automotive applications specify cold rolled strip.
Q2: What width tolerances can you guarantee after slitting?
For slit coils we control width tolerance to ±0.05 mm for narrow precision strip and ±0.15 mm for wider strip, depending on thickness and gauge. Burr height is kept within 5% of strip thickness, and camber is controlled to the limits agreed in the contract, typically below 1 mm per meter for precision applications.
Q3: Can you supply galvanized steel strip with a specific zinc coating?
Yes. Galvanized strip can be supplied with hot-dip zinc coating from Z60 to Z275 g/m², matched to the corrosion environment of your application. We can also supply pre-galvanized (electro-galvanized) strip for indoor applications where a thin, smooth coating is sufficient.
Q4: What is the maximum coil weight for steel strip?
Master coils up to 8 tons are available, while slit coils are typically 1–5 tons depending on width and gauge. If your process has a maximum coil weight limit, we schedule the slitting program so that every coil delivered matches your handling equipment.
Q5: How is steel strip packed and shipped?
Slit coils are wound on pallets with steel straps and waterproof wrapping; master coils are packed on steel cradles with edge protection. Coils can be shipped in containers or by break-bulk, with loading diagrams prepared to protect coil edges and maintain coil shape throughout the voyage.
Q6: Can you provide samples before a bulk order?
Yes. We recommend a trial coil of a few tons before full-scale production. Trial coils are priced at the same unit rate as bulk orders, and the freight for small trial shipments can usually be arranged as air or LCL cargo so that you can validate the strip on your own line quickly.
