On September 2, Chairman of Sino Sources Mr. Roy Wang met with President of the Republic of Ghana Mr. Akufo- Addo, who was invited to visit China and attended the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Mr. Wang briefed the President on the overall situation of Sino Sources and its business operation in Ghana, and thanked the President and the Ghanaian government for their long-term trust and support to the company. Mr.Wang said the “One Belt And One Road” initiative will inject new impetus into the practical cooperation and further development of bilateral relations and strengthen bilateral economic and trade cooperation, which is in line with the general direction of economic globalization and regional economic cooperation. Sino Sources is willing to further strengthen ties with Ghana and make positive contributions to the rapid development of infrastructure construction in Ghana.
President Akufu-Addo said that China and Ghana enjoy a good basis for cooperation. Under the new circumstances, Ghana is willing to constantly deepen bilateral relations,actively participate in the construction of “One Belt And One Road” and inject new impetus into bilateral cooperation. Ghana will always be China’s trustworthy friend in Africa.
After the meeting, Mr. Wang from Sino Sources were invited by President Akufo- Addo to attend the banquet, Minister of Foreign AffairsMs. Shirley Ayoko- Bo Qiwei, Minister of Finance Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, Minister of Railways Mr. Joe Ghartey, together with Business Tycoon Mr. Mike Twum Barimah, and President’s daughter Ms. Tegui Ankrah.
