-316 stainless steel rectangular square bar
This specific square steel bar is stainless steel and in rectangular shape. This belongs to the model number 316,316L,321,304,304L. This type of steel bar is manufactured in accordance with international manufacturing standards such as JIS, AISI, ASTM, GB, DIN, EN and certified by ISO as well. Generally 316 stainless steel grade provides better corrosion resistance than general-purpose 304 stainless steel. Especially if the steel products are used in marine environments, 316 stainless steel rectangular square bar has high corrosion resistance due to higher nickel content and the addition of molybdenum. The chemical composition of this steel is able to resist to staining and rusting environments. Therefore this specific steel’s corrosion resistance describes the material’s ability to prevent deterioration caused by atmosphere, moisture, or other medium. The toughness of this material has the ability to absorb energy before breaking and its resistance to permanent surface deformation.
-AISI 440C stainless steel square bar
This type of steel square bar is square shaped and made with stainless steel. This belongs to square type category and 400 series steel grade. AISI 440C stainless steel square bar’s model number is 440C. Basically AISI 440C stainless steel is composed with major alloy elements such as Carbon, Manganese, Silicon, Chromium, Molybdenum and other elements. 440C is a hardened stainless steel alloy, hardenable to a higher hardness than 440B. t has good corrosion resistance, and is used in ball bearing balls and races, high pressure nozzles, valve seats and high wear components. Grade 440C stainless steels are high carbon steels, which attain the highest hardness, wear resistance and strength of all stainless steel grades after heat treatment. These properties make this grade suitable for applications such as valve components and ball bearings. This steel grades has corrosion resistance compared with other steel grades that are available in the market. This has a length of 100mm-12000mm and dimension of 3*3mm-80*80mm. The production technology used for production is hot rolled technology. AISI 440C stainless steel square bars produced according to hot rolled techniques and are in accordance with international quality standards such as JIS, AISI, ASTM, GB, DIN, EN.
