ASTM A52 tubing (also known as ASME SA52 tubing) is suitable for mechanical and pressure applications as well as for general use in steam, water, gas and air ducts. It is suitable for welding and forming operations, including winding, bending and flanging, with certain qualifications.
ASTM A52 pipe covers seamless and welded, black and hot dip galvanized nominal (average) wall tubes for winding, bending, flanging and other special applications for welding.
